I've got a Weber of indeterminate model (the sediment bowl is my idea) that does fairly good, however the electric choke sucks and it supplies just a little too much via the accelerator pump if you drop it all the way to the floor as fast as you can.
I get a rattle from 2100 to 2500, not sure, may be the mains going. need to fix the oil pressure sender, and figure out the proper dipstick... I may just drive it to Meridian Ford and tell them there it is... now get me the &*#!$ part.
I ended up having to have the head rebuilt, stelite seats installed, new valves... and the machine shop lost my rocker arms. So I installed a set of Harland Sharp roller rockers
An MSD, promaster coil, and a new distributor ( since not even the ford dealer could tell me how to make the one that was on there work) I should write ford and tell them if their dealer doesn't understand a ford product, they should buy me a unilite...

I need to find a new valve cover. I'm using a late style unit, but I had to press dents into it with a hydraulic press to clear the adjusters on the roller rockers... I think clifford offers a cast aluminum unit, but it's too tall; the throttle linkage won't clear. It's also too expensive.
I am thinking of building a new bottom end fit for supercharging. I'll need heavy rods... Probably custom made, and possibly some 390 pistons for a similar boost application. balance, forged crank, glyptol coat, blueprint... Then I get to figure out my bypass mess to make the supe/electric clutch setup viable.
still can't figure out where it's losing oil. It's not smoking blue.... so I doubt it's burning it. At this point the biggest pain in the butt is Ford's idea of electrical connectors. Threaded stock on the temp sender, but just a loose socket to press on to it? I have to reconnect the silly thing at least once a week...
anyway, pics on the way.
