Engine Mounts

Post by gramsay »

I have a 351 cleveland that I want to put in my 67 m100 to replace the 240. I found a set of frame towers on ebay that I think are right, I just want someone to confirm that these are correct.

Thanks

Clevelands are not that common. Windsors and Modifieds are everywhere. Cleveland engines was about the shortest production motor Ford ever made.

302 and 351c m w and 400 all use the same perch. its the rubber mounts that are different from 302/351c w and 351m 400 that are different. the 302 351c and w all have the engine castigng pointing straight down. where as the 351m and 400 castings for the rubber motor mounts are angled.

Oh and when I say Cleveland I am refer to only the 351C. When I was a lad The 66 to 72 era street machines and Ford trucks were my stomping grounds. So the only thing called Cleveland was the 351C. Boss 302 Mustang engines came from the same plant.

With that price you would think they were rare.

Make a post in the parts wanted section. I bet somebody has what you need and a better deal.
