motor swap

so my v6 in my explorer is about to die. i have a v8 5.0L to replace it with. but im not sure what im goint to need to do to get the job done. ive been told new computer, wiring harness and some modification to the firewall. has anyone done this b4? i could use some help....

wiht an eninge size change you will need a computer that matches that engine. i would guess that maybe you would need the wirign harness for that engine. i dont know about firewall mods. i wouldn't think you would but i don't know for sure.
