Lubrication for vacuum advance plate?
When I was messing with the points yesterday it seemed like the advance plate was a little sticky. Is there supposed to be any lube under the plate? I thought mabe silcone spray but there is a lot happening under the cap so I didn't want to putting anything in there that would mess it up.

Re: Lubrication for vacuum advance plate?
I just googled this and found a pretty good article from Mustang Monthly. They reference the distributor as a loadomatic which I have never heard ours being referenced as, but I imagine the idea is the same. Here's a link.
