Carb Linkage
This is a carb linkage on a dentside F250 CS with a 460. Have any of you seen the longer rod that hooks to the carb? It looks longer then what is on my bump.

Re: Carb Linkage
i think most carbs linkages are going to be slightly different in lenght from the pedal. that is why those rods are adjustable. that eldebrock looks like a 4bbl with the normal rod on it that may have been adjusted out to fit that carb. that rod looks like a stock rod to me.

Re: Carb Linkage
OldRedFord,
I've got one here that i got from eboy a few years back, (I hope to eliminate the existing "trapeze linkage" on my bump during my build).
IMO the fewer parts the less chance for stuff to break.
It seemed longer than the one from my 79' and has an offset bent into it from the factory.
Here's the picture links, the 79'/460 rod:

My 79' homeade 302 linkage rod, (no I didn't make it/but ran it for several years):

And the 79' 460 intake manifold bracket that holds the cable linkage:

Hope it helps...
