shorty headers

I have been looking for shorty headers for a 360. No luck. I roasted 3 starters and Im getting sick of replacing them. AANNDD yes be for you ask I heat rapped every thing. They dont have to be true shortys but Im not sure whats the best way to go if they dont makem. Champdog

Not much to say here, I must have a super starter, I've ran my 390 with hedders for over 8 years now and I've never burned up a starter. I replaced it 2 years back since I had the engine out anyways. No wrap or nothing for protection. Can't figure it out but I'm not complaining. Perhaps different makes of hedders run a bit tighter on the starter? I'm running full length ceramic heddman hedders, look good and sound great, you might wanna look at those. :2cents:

If you keep an eye on ebay you can buy a set for $400+ ,Just seen a set sell for $405 ,,,they show up every other week or so.

I would assume so. I don't think there would really be anything in the way from the looks of them, but...I don't know. Never had any experience with cast iron shorty headers, so it's all speculation. I'm going to email them to try and find out, though! :wink:
