No bubbles in the radiator so there is some hope. A cracked block would suck.

If that's moisture coming out of your exhaust and if you even have a problem it's probably in the intake. You're getting it out of both banks, cracked block, head, or gasket wouldn't do that unless you ruined both sides which isn't likely.

Keep in mind though that moisture coming out of the exhaust isn't uncommon nor indicative of a problem unless it is in excess and your radiator level is dropping.

I guess the video is a little dark, but most of those spots is oil. The PO said the truck hadn't been run much in the last year or more - could this much just be seepage from sitting so long?

Also, how could oil get in the intake? Not arguing here, just new to engines.

Engine fully warm with t-stat open? Exhaust condensation?

Just checked the PCV valve by pulling it and giving it a shake. It still rattles, though the end of it is wet with what smells like gas.

Edit: gave the dipstick a whiff and it smells a little like fuel as well. Isn't some of that normal in carbureted engines though?

Did you notice if your oil level is higher than it should be? And/or really thin and runny? Signs of a internally leaking fuel pump if so.

Oil was at the correct level. Will check again tonight.

the video is too dark fo rme to see. the oil smeling like fuel could be 2 things. bad rings. or a leaky fuel pump like tof said.

After watching the video, I don't think you have a problem.

If it were a blown head gasket, cracked block or cracked head, it would be smoking a lot more than it is.

Since you say it hasn't been run much in the last year, the first thing I would do is DRIVE IT!!

Once it gets warm, get into the throttle pretty hard and watch in the rear view mirror for a lot of smoke. Then, back out of it, and see if you have any smoke. By the way, nighttime is the best time to see it, with a car's headlights behind you.

You may find that everything clears right up!!
