V8 radiator support question

I'm going monday to look at a radiator support a guy has from a 68. What I'm wondering is, does anyone know the size of the opening for the V8 compared to the I-6 support? I'm going to be needing the V8 support, and want to make sure I get the right one. I'm assuming there is a difference, due to the different size radiators.

I'm not sure the difference but I just found I6 support and took the sawzall to it and a little file. It turned out great! After powder coating it you couldn't tell it apart from my old V8 support. That was the only difference between the two.

yes you can cut out the 6 cyl support to work wiht a v8 radiator. the size is abotu 27 inches across. thats not an exact measurement but should be pretty close. not all of them are the exact same size across. but they are very close.
