dual exhaust down one side?

Post by zakt »

anyone running a mid bed gas tank (stock inside frame rail) and have to run dual exhaust down one side (pics) or is everyone running it seperately down each side and taking the mid gas tank out or? Why I ask is I will be putting a new tank in the back under the bed behind the axle so would like to run the mid gas tank also but thinking it will be a problem either 2 1/2-3" exhaust pipe, then just get a bigger rear tank and take out the mid tank??? Any thoughts??

no pix handy but it looks like they cut the single exhaust off at the crossover and ran 2 pipes back from there. tail pipes turn out just in front of rear wheel. sounds ok.

Mine has a hooker kit on it that runs down one side, it is 2.25 but I really don't think 3" would be that big of a deal for a good shop. Stand two turbo mufflers on end and it should fit.

Good day Todd!!!

Keith posted this great photo in another thread a while back. I saved the URL because I'm also planning on this exhaust style!
