I have found a C6 trans for a reasonable price, is this the wright trans for my 67 F100, 4X2 with a300-6cyl? What, if anything do I need to worry about?
Changing the Column is the easiest of my problems, I am more worried about bolting it up and any mods that may be needed to the engine and removing the clutch??? Please advise.. Is there a tutorial on how to do this?? anywhere?? Thanks for any help.

re: C6 Tranny Questions
Check your bolt pattern. I think the auto transmission for the I6 is usually the C4. And from the sounds of it a C6 with the small block bolt pattern isn't all that common.

re: C6 Tranny Questions
the hardest part will be finding a good front section of drive shaft.
and removing the pilot bearing out of the end of your crank.
after you do this all you need is a trans cooler some lines, flex plate the aluminum trans spacer and inspection cover. trans mount and a bunch of bolts.
some people insist on a neutral safety switch but its nice with out that way if you truck stalls you can just crank and go in gear.
