Cam eccentric lobes + interchange

Does anyone know if either the 'small block' or 'big block' Ford engines use an eccentric lobe the same size as a 300 six?

what I'm looking at does not use a lever, it uses an inline pushrod. I want to see if I can make either work on my six, including by means of having a cam cut with a different eccentric lobe from stock. I'd been told they only made it for chevy, but I found 'em for ford... just not the six. :x

the only thing i know abou those types of rod setups. is not to try and start the engine with the rod in place. it will bend the rod and then you will be in a hard place.

What do you mean by "lobe size"? there are a dozen dimensions you could pull off that lobe. Fuel pump lobes are always desmodromic so the dimension that matters is the lobe lift, not the lobe size.

Yes, the lift is exactly what I need to know. I figure that's the only dimension that would have any effect on a pushrod operated pump. I don't think width will be an issue, though block surface to lobe surface depth at one or the other extreme of the lobe's travel would be another thing to know.
