I was wondering what was the biggest engine you could swap into a 1970 f250 camper special without too much modification

define: too much modification... whats in it? what do you idealy want? what will you use it for?

too much modification would be a lot of cutting and welding or things like that. Im not going to be like drag racing or anything like that

460 is the biggest that will go in without doing any cutting or welding. you just need the mounts and the engine transmission combo to put it in.

i didnt mention any diesel engines because i really dont know what it would take to put one in.

thats cool so basically with the 460 its just a drop in with the mounting brackets and trans combo

yes i think so . the onyl thing else i can think of is booster size. the dentside trucks had problems with the larger around boosters hitting th drivers side valve cover. it was solved by getting a smaller around booster.
