Any FE 4V intake will work. Mine came off a '75 model truck.

I am not an FE person so don't laugh at me too long but I thought there was a couple different heads and intakes such as Medium riser? Isn't that talking about the height of the intake ports? If so wouldn't that take a different intake than a low riser?
Just wondering

i myself still have issues...carb. linkage(still using the holley or whatever linkage was stock)... and i need to set the carb up to work for what this truck needs(in process of dual ex.).... it does run... and actully runs better when it was pulling stuff to this house i moved into later last year...

but, one question i have is. "how would one go about setting them knobs up front?" and is that the extent of it.

If the knobs you are talking about is the small screws then they are the Air Fuel screws.
As far as setting up a carb. yes there is a lot more too it than that but they are a good enough place to start.
Here is a pretty good article on it. Some might argue but here it is.
http://www.bob2000.com/carb.htm
Pay a lot of attention to the accelerator pump cam and adjusting bolt. It should move the arm as soon as the throttle moves.
Bob's article will explain it I think.
Once you get that figured out go here. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2000/03/timing/ and get your timing sorted out.
That will get you headed in the right direction for a crisp running engine and good fuel economy

A little note 360s was the only FE that never had a 4V option from the factory. From the 332 to the 428 it was the only one that did not.

does that mean a 4v intake won't work on a 360?
I am looking for a new intake for my 360 and was
considering either an edelbrock or a ford S intake.
