
1970 360 motor mounts

1970 360 motor mounts
I need heavy duty motor mounts for a 360 with close to 500hp I tried auto fab but I didn't see them for my motor.Am I looking in the wrong place? Is there any place else to order them?

Motor mounts for all FEs in trucks are the same.

There was a post a few months back about this. They do make some heavy duty motor mounts for out trucks. But you have to get the tranny mount from them as well so everything matches and moves the same, Autofab will tell you about it. FYI- I'm running right around 500 hp in my F100 and the stock motor mounts are fine. It is a street truck, so I guess if you are going to offroad with it then it would be a good investment, other than that I wouldn't waste the money.

Here's how the Autofab "Motor Mount" page looks by default:

And now I've used the mouse to highlight all of the invisible text--you can see it all now, including the FE motor mounts and Ford truck transmission mount(s):

On December 31st, 2008 I ordered the Autofab FE and T18 (same for C6) mounts from John, over the phone. I paid a total (including tax and shipping) of about $445, which I thought was fair. The quality is these mounts is very high!
You may wish to review the thread wherein my complete experience with the Autofab FE and transmission mounts is documented, including many photos and special implementation notes.

May I ask which web browser and operating system (types and versions) you're using? The web site has a glitch that causes some computers to display portions of the text in an invisible fashion.
