I've been running a 3310 750CFM on my .040 over 429 for about 10 years. rebuilt it once and it has never given me any problems. I don't even have to use a choke in cold weather. For me a very dependable carb, I'm a Holley fan anyway but this carb has never disappointed me and I pull some heavy loads.
My truck is a 72 F 250 4X4 with a dana 70 rear with 1 ton springs. I have a single boom hydraulic arm and a tow sling, basicly it's a wrecker. It weighs 7200# my trailer is about 2300# 21 foot bed. With a car or truck on the trailer can weigh in at as much as 16,000 or more. It will run the speed limit loaded all day long.
