Re: KaptnKAOS
Wow. I always looked forward to reading the Kapt'n's posts. What a nice guy. Impressed me as a truly genuine, honest person, always willing to extend a hand and a laugh to others. He was definitely a guy I would have liked to grab a beer with someday (although I think he had given up alcohol).

Are there any guys here that are up that way that have a bunch of land? You might be able to work out a deal to store it for a little while until you can figure out the details (or at least to give you some time to take the time to make the decision instead of rushing into it).TheeMc wrote:I can not take it on, wish I could, if it were closer I would, but there is no way I could get it from WA all the way to SC.....

I know if i had the time and money i'd be interested in finishing it, I'd even rename it Kaos or the Kapt'n.

If it were something I could do it could stay where it is for a while, but really with my back, my big project is checking the oil anymore....I'd love to see it go to someone who would enjoy working on it for both the truck and the bus....GSequoia wrote:Are there any guys here that are up that way that have a bunch of land? I need to read General Discussions more often. I'm so sorry to hear the news. He was always so helpful and his sincerity was genuine. I hadn't seen any posts from him in a while and just thought that he was busy. It's a bummer that I never got to meet him at one of the meet and greets here in the NW as he had a lot of good advice for members here. He will be misses and I send my condolences to his family.

Re: KaptnKAOS
This was a real shock to me. Been gone for quite a while, and trying to catch up on things. people here learned alot from him I'm sure. He was always there to answer a question and help out if he could. What a bad thing to happen to a decent guy.

I've been gone a while too and just stumbled upon this. Prayers for TheeMc and all of Kaptn's friends and family. He was a great man, and he had a close relationship with the Lord. His great stories both bump and non-bump related, his special way of saying hello to new members, and his endless words of wisdom, experiences, and advice will be missed!

Unfortunately I never knew the guy as I just signed up, but I've read many of his posts, and he seemed like a great guy. I'm sorry for everyone's loss, and Both Kaptn and his family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Re: KaptnKAOS
I'd like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers, Allan introduced mr to this forum, and fact is we both cut our "bump teeth" on the same truck, it just so happened that I was the one that bought it from my stepdad, twice...
. I'll still be around from time to time for sure, probably a lot more when I start working on my bump again, as he won't be around to ask anymore. I wanted to share this pic of him, thanks again, and Merry Chrstmas...

I saved that picture as my background. I miss Allan...I think of him every time I climb in my pickup.
Come around as often as you can. Always happy to have more good folks around here.
