i cant decide what way to go 351 or 460.. anyone got any advice????

what do you have now? i would rather have a 351c myself. but others liek the 460 for some other reasons.

What are your plans for the truck? Which 351 are you looking at? I wouldn't waste my time with a 351M, but the 351C and 351W could be good for a cruiser. If you plan on racing or pulling/hauling heavy loads the 460 would be better, as well as a FE.
And like Fordman said, what's in there now? That will help you determine just how much work you want/need to do with each engine. .

Clevelands tend to produce HP at a higher RPM range than do 460's. Thus, in my opinion, is not a good choice for a heavy vehicle. Stock 460's produce a lot of torque and can be made to produce 500HP and over 500 ft. lbs. of torque for a lot less money than a Cleveland. It all depends on what you are going to use your truck for.

The 460 will give you more torque down low. Don't have to dump a lot of cash to get a honest 500 hp out of it.

Depends on your intended use in the end.
