can i fix this with a pair of pliers and a blow torch? how about some bailing wire and some bubble gum? i also have some super glue and jb weld.
i havent gotten the rest of the rod out yet. but its no longer connected to the crankshaft. this is what happens when the wife and kids use it and dont check the oil. no to worry i have more mowers than this.

that reminds me of something. I knew a guy with a pretty nice swb bumpside with a 351w and he ran it without oil and locked it up. Turns out he was checking out the tranny fluid.

i got it apart finally there were no bearings in it at all they were gone. the rod was as ate up as the crank was. so it had been bad for atleast two mowings before i caught it out of oil the first time
