So I have the casting #s off of the intake manifold in my grandpa's '72 F100. Can anyone translate these for me?
Here are the #s: C9AE 9425-B
Thanks.

That casting number only tells you when a part was designed, not when it was used. Your manifold was designed for a 1969 Ford full size car but the same manifold was used on cars and trucks for several years and is likely original to your truck. You will need to find the casting date which is also on the manifold to determine when it was made. The casting date will look something like 1K27 or 2C3 (the examples translate to November 27, 1971 and March 3, 1972). Hawkrod
