Swapping out oil pressure sender/switch

Post by FordRocket72 »

My recently puchased truck has low oil pressure and last week I noticed the needle on the gauge move erractically. I changed the oil and saw fresh oil seeping out the top of the oil pressure switch. I purchased another one from Napa auto parts will momentarily installed the switch. Wish me luck, here are pictures of the old switch and the new switch. Notice the Ford logo on the old switch.

:yt:, It's quite amazing how long original parts last compared to replacements. Hopefully your new sending unit will fix your gauge issue and you will get a good reading! Good luck .
