Hedders for 72 F100
Having some trouble finding a set of hedders to fit my truck. It is an 72 F100 2wd with a C4 auto. It has a 302 engine and is factory to the truck. It was a frame off rebuild and everything is like brand new. I have been discussing this problem, of not fitting, with Hedmen Support, and they seem to think I have a camper special or wrong engine mounts or wrong everything. The problem is the crossmember that connects to the radius arm brackets, the hedders sit directly in front of it. And the passengers side is very tight to the frame. Has anyone had any issues with this? Do all the 67-72 have this crossmember? Is it possible that the brackets the engine mounts sit on are reversed from side to side? Thanks.

I THINK if the mounts are swapped side to side it moves the engine forward or backward but not up or down. Not sure what to tell you other than headers for a stock 302 should fit. The reason headers for a Camper Special usually don't fit is due to the front sway bar getting in the way. Not sure they ever made a camper special with a 302 in there but they might have.
Can you take some close up pictures and post them on here? I bet somebody would be able to look at them and tell you the problem
