dashpot

Post by jdenison75 »

Rebuilding my 2100 and noticed that the dashpot is screwed. It was full of dirt and can barely move. anyone know where to get one? Mine looks like this except for the bracket.

Im leaning towards the leaving it off idea. There are no junk yards within almost 2 hours and none of the parts stores have them. I have found them but for$30 plus shipping. Im going to go with an electronic ignition and better plugs and wires so i think that will help with any stalling i might have had.

It only stops the throttle from snapping shut and raising emissions.

i got a good running carb out of the junkyard. and it didnt have a dashpot on it. i went to put one on and the bolt was bigger than the hole was to put it on with so i left mine off. it seems to run fine without it.
