What is the weight of a 360 engine? I ve got to purchase an engine stand.

Full dressed is around 775 lbs for an FE block like the 360. (everything on it including alternator, fan, carb, etc.)

Be sure to get the two-legged 4 wheeled variety, the one legged 3 wheeled ones are dangerous and you will drop your engine.

This is great help and I do have my eye on a 4 wheeler.....figured the 3 wheeler is dangerous

Go with a half ton stand, I got a 351w i put on a 400lb stand. I didn't think it was gonna hold it.
