Life Is Good

Post by BobbyFord »

Things are looking up. It's nice to be sitting, watching TV and there comes a knock on the door. You open the door to find some goodies on the porch :D

460 rear sump HV oil pump, rear sump pan kit (oil pan, 1-piece rubber gasket, dipstick and tube, oil pump pick-up with main cap stud) and 110 GPH Holley fuel pump :woohoo:

Yes, these parts are for the engine the heads are going on. It's nice to see them in a catalog or on a website before you order them but you still can't wait to tear into the box when they arrive.

Go Fast Goodies are like Christmans+Birthday for any motorhead. I love when i get parts either for my Powerstroke or for my 70 4x4 homemade offroad truck. I made a 4'' lift for my 70 f100 4x4. Its a blast to start just fabbing stuff up and make it work yourself with junk you find in the scrap pile. It aint Real pretty but it will go anywhere with the 35/12.5r15 Mickey Thompson Baja Claws. Ill try to get some pics for you guys soon.

2001 F250 4x4, Powerstroke diesel, auto, 140hp TS Performance chip, AFE cold air intake, hopefully adding soon- Jobe performance cold air intake, CFM+ intake manifold, 4" turbo back custom duals, stage 2 injectors- Daily Driver
Hot Rods have a Ford in front and a toolbox in the back, street rods have a chevy in front and a can of wax in the back- Mr. Offenhouser

I'm running the same pan Ford Performance Parts uses for their crate 514. It's also their Fox body 460 swap pan as well as a Econoline rear sump pan, 6 quart. I got the pan kit and oil pump from the Ford dealer that my cousin works at in Vegas (employee discount :D).
The cam and converter is coming from Scotty Johnston in Tacoma, WA, I also have one of his re-curved Duraspark distributors (and another pair of max-ported 460 heads with the larger valves installed) http://reincarnation-automotive.com/
Carb, MSD box and fuel pump are from Summit.
