i didn't find any bent push rods. it was the lifter stuck in the up wards position. so i got lucky and it saved itself.

i don't remeber what i said . but the lifters were stuck up wards both of number 5 and the exhaust side on number 6. i dont think it bend the valves but the push rods werent bent. and it may have soem chattering after i get the thing quited down. but that may have just been the lifters pumping themselves back up becuase that noise went away. where in the heel can i get a picture of the crossover pipe fo rthis thing? i almost cut up a good pair of duals today until i figured i could make them work even if i did cut them up. the passneger side would work fine. but the drivers side is a mess with the clutch fork driveshaft in the way. then the transfer case plus i cant go outside the frame above the radius arm because i might hit the driveshaft tring that. dose this pipe go back and under the oilpan but not far enough back to hit the trans inspection plate and that is where it crosses under? but then it woul dhave to go forward real fast to hook into the y pipe. almost pinch it in half if that is where it went to.
