I know it is totally different motor, but for what it's worth, My alfa had oil in the coolant and replacing the head gasket took care of it. I was concerned it could be the block, but for what a head gasket costs, it was worth replacing just to find out. Thousands of miles later, and not too many dollars, it is running great, and no more oil in coolant.
Are you sure it's the head that leaking oil in back? I ask because that's a notorious intake manifold leak zone. You might have a small water leak between the intake and and heads which would let the water dribble down the valley pan and into the crank case.

Ok, this is what I'm gonna do for now. I think I'm gonna flush the heck out of the cooling system (whatever it takes to get all of the oil out??), and keep driving it. I really can't afford to put an astronomical amount of money into the motor right now. I'm gonna change the oil once I get all of the oil out of the radiator. Then I'm gonna just baby it and monitor the fluids (especially the coolant) and see what happens and how long it takes for something to happen. I guess the worse thing that can happen is I blow the motor up. If it has a crack in it then it's bound to happen eventually anyway. I'm hoping that if I can keep my foot out of the gas and drive like i have some sense I can make it last a while. Any ideas of how to get the oil flushed out of the cooling system?? Once I do get it flushed, I think i might flush the system every few weeks or so to keep the oil content from building up??? Any input will be appreciated.

I guess the utmost worse thing that can happen is she blows up?? I'm hoping that if I baby the thing and keep my foot out of it I can make her last a bit longer. Ok I took it out for a good long drive today. Took off the passenger side valve cover and still no signs of water in crankcase. But still oil in water. I will say that all of the hoses were pressurized when I parked it today. I guess I'm trying to convince myself it's just a head gasket and not a crack..
