how full?

how full do you guys fill the radiator? i hear some say to the cap and others say as long as you can see the fluid pass along th top of the coils.

Top of the coil after that is just vents away.

to the rim at first fill up. it wil have air in the system that it will burp out and suck the level down when the thermostat opens up. be prepared to add more after that.

I added one of those Autozone overflow resevoirs so I fill it all the way up.

My owners manual says 1" below the filler neck ring when cold :2cents:

Since I don't have an overflow anymore I leave it at least an inch or two below the top. If I had an overflow I would keep it closeer to the top. Just as long as the top of the tubes are covered it really doesn't matter. Now on the 1st start after having the system opened up you will have to get all the air out of the system and get the coolant to a stable level before you could even tell where it is going to stay.
