Oil filler cap

Post by Big Blue 72 »

Has anyone seen these oil filler caps for sale anywhere? The only ones I can find are mail order from England and I have no idea if they'd even fit. They're probably made to fit some kind of small European Ford engine. Anyway, I have a set of valve covers that I thought this would look pretty cool on.

I'm looking for something like a chrome billet oil cap if anyone has a good website to check.

The one you pictured is licensed by Ford and made by a company called Richbrook in the UK.

See pg 5 of their catalog: http://www.richbrook.co.uk/catalogue.pdf

The site for the company also has a store, the caps are $40 US. Don't know how much shipping would be.

I'm sorry if I ask lots of questions, there's just a lot of stuff I don't know (yet).

I have a 390 with stock valve covers. I'm surprised there isn't more of a selection of caps out there. You'd think some entrenpeneur would design a whole slew of novel caps that would appeal to people wanting to customize the look under their hood.

Thanks for the link to the UK website!
