speaking of exploding. i saw a rear end today from a 8.8 econoline that had a hugh hole in it. it looked like the spider gears has exploded or the pin gave way and shot something out the rear cover.

I run a catch can in the pcv system of all race engines (especially boosted, but a lil different hookup)....... Most I know of do this as well. You just need the baffled catch can (I build mine, but Summit has them). Personally I like the dual VC pickup setup such as Redcap's if you're going to add a catch can.

Without one, the 86 tic brick will smoke and eventually, the intercooler will be sludged (this is due to WAY too much boost though).
