Ok, I know this has probly been asked or brought up. BUT in my defense I have done the search tab through these forums and read through all kinds of threads here, only to find everyone seeming to start out with a 360 to 390 convert... but ultimately breaks into a 360 or 390 to 410 convert.
I get that you take a 390 Crank, and 390 Rods with 390 TRUCK Pistons (Bold for DuckRyder, see man, I read it.. I seen the pics!)
Is that it? From what I gathered the flywheel and all that are the same, well not so much exactly the same but the crank and flywheel do not need to be balanced together as they are neutrally balanced already.
Using the 390 TRUCK pistons will keep it at the lower compression, as to allow the use of Regular Gas?
is there any other points to the conversion... any other measurements and adjustments that Should or Must be done? What piston rings are recommended?
I am not looking to Hotrod it to the max HP I can get, breaking my arse-end loose every time I press the pedal. Just looking for a bit more than the 360 Gives.
Ryan.
