Distributor Question

Post by wildcard »

I put in a new dizzy last weekend on my 300-I6. It looks like the rotor is pointing about 3/8" to the left of center of #1. Also the dizzy seems to be pointed more toward the firewall than the one I took out. It runs real smooth at an idle and up to 50 MPH. After that it starts to miss and stutter. I'm going to try to pull it and turn it a little this weekend. Should that fix the missing at higher speeds ?
