351w Exhaust System

Im trying to do my own exhaust system without having to buy a pipe bender, or pay someone to do it. I have 289 exhaust manifolds which go straight back. I want to keep that style, I was wondering does anyone think this would work?

Is that front curve right? Would it work with the firewall and everything? Im not too worried about the tranny because I can cut the back h off and weld on more pipes if I have too.

A 351w/5.8 is taller that a 289/302/5.0 so if you use a 289 exhaust system it is going to be higher that designed.

I have no idea if it will work with firewall...

If I was going to try something like this, I would use 351w swap headers for a fox body mustang along with a fox body H or X pipe...

the hradest part to get or make is the flaging for the flare for the doughnut. i had to have that made. you cant buy it. that i could find. i got the rest of my pipes from a 79 that had dual custom exhuast on it. i cut a little off the ends and had the flare and soem bending made to hook onto the pipe i already got off of the other truck.

Thats what I need forman, will it fit for a fairlane with a 289?
