360 intake swap?

Post by jdenison75 »

just got a 72 f250 with a 360 and am wanting to put a 4 barrel intake on it. Not having much luck finding anything listed as a 360 intake other than the $300 edelbrock. I dont mind running a cast iron intake as long as i can find a 4 barrel. Arent the 360 and 390 the same except for the crank? So i can look for a 390 manifold also? And if so will any year 390 work? I have found several of the 390's but most are from the early 60's.

Yes, those will work just fine. Just about every 360, 390, and 428 part will interchange as far as parts like intake manifolds go.
