coolant/water is flowing around the cylinders to cool them off. your engine block is constantly filled with coolant on the outside. IF you run straight water and no anti freeze your engine runs a very high risk of freezing over and causing a lot of damage. physics is a son of a bi$#@. warm water freezes faster than room temp water. water also expands exponentially when frozen. since your coolant and oil passages are side by side and you said you found oil in the water the block is toasted. damnit! i was suppose to pick it up tomorrow too! ah well.72Highboy wrote:Just curious I was wondering how that happens I saw another post like that and was just wondering what happens.![]()
