My coolant gauge has stopped working, I had it working for awhile, original guage with a new sender, new engine bay wires. Today I replaced the newish temp sender with a brand new Motorcraft one, no luck, still does not work.
I did hook up a tester light to the wire, it flashes like it should, so it has to be the gauge I am assuming.
Is there any way to test the gauge itself?

take the wire off of the sender and ground it. if the gauge works its the sender. if the gauge doesnt work its the wiring or the gauge.
