adding a fuel tank

Hey guys i want to add another fuel tank to my 71 short bed stepside 4x4. Im kinda limited to mileage with the stock in cab tank (6 mpg) and would like to be able to venture farther on my adventures. I was wondering if a 78-79 bronco fuel tank will fit on my truck, in the back between the frame, as that seems the only place i really have room. Or maybe someone knows of another tank setup that will work with minimal customizing. What do ya think? Thanks for the input; Dale.

Aside from factory auxiliary fuel tanks, there aren't too many options that do not involve some degree of fabrication.
Late 60's, early 70's Mustang fuel tanks are an option but require fabrication to install:
