360FE ????

Does anyone know why my 360 had a timing chain cover/water pump combination? When we were ordering the crankshaft there was some confusion as to why the pulleys would not line up.So I ended up having to get a different timing chain cover,the guy who traded me seemed very anxious to trade so much so ,He cleaned and painted the cover.Since this was a brushfire truck could it have been ordered with a heavy duty water pump? If so would the crankshaft also have been different? Any information would appreciated.

MY 302 has a waterpump timing cover combo. My 360 dose not. Just sayin'

ok so how many valve cover bolts does it have one one valve cover? 5, 6, 8?

You my have a FT, a FT has the waterpump bolted to the timing chain cover not the block. or the 361 i have dose. a 361 has a larger crank than a 360 and a 360 front seal will not fit on a 361 crank because a 361 is about 3/8" larger than a 360
